'Turn on' meant go within to activate your neural and genetic equipment. Become sensitive to the many and various levels of consciousness and the specific triggers that engage them. Drugs were one way to accomplish this end. 'Tune in' meant interact harmoniously with the world around you - externalize, materialize, express your new internal perspectives. Drop out suggested an elective, selective, graceful process of detachment from involuntary or unconscious commitments. 'Drop Out' meant self-reliance, a discovery of one's singularity, a commitment to mobility, choice, and change.Unhappily my explanations of this sequence of personal development were often misinterpreted to mean 'Get stoned and abandon all constructive activity'.

The Path, you can't find it by searching for it
Just think of the trees: they let the birds perch and fly, with no intention to call them when they come and no longing for their return when they fly away. If people's hearts can be like the trees, they will not be off the Way.
A good traveler has no fixed plan, and is not intent on arriving.
When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be....

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be....
At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want.
Do the difficult things while they are easy and do the great things while they are small. A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.
When you're deluded, every statement is an ulcer; when you're enlightened, every word is wisdom.
He who wherever he goes is attached to no person and to no place by ties of flesh; who accepts good and evil alike, neither welcoming the one nor shrinking from the other — take it that such a one has attained Perfection.
Let your mind wander in simplicity, blend your spirit with the vastness, follow along with things the way they are, and make no room for personal views-then the world will be governed.

"When I Let Go Of What I Am, I Become What I Might Be."

This is a time where the divine plan asks for your surrender of ego, what your beliefs have been about your self and this world, and to put your trustin the unseen powers that would guide you into the fullest potential in this lifetime. Accept that you are the one child of God.
Our one job is to allow this to happen, to love and forgive what the 'dream' brings to you as challenges. Resistance to flow causes suffering. If you are feeling pulled to change your life in different ways now, you need to listen to that inner voice.
